Customizing Axis Increment

I am fairly new to SGT and am wondering if it is possible to control the increments of a PlainAxis
(or any axis for that matter)

Right now I have no control over the incrementing of my axis. So as the x/y range grows, the
increment changes such that only 5 values are displayed (every other large tic).

Ideally, I'd like to control the axis increment value and/or the number of values displayed along the
axis.
