Re: Question about GODAE flavor of NetCDF

Murray,
ncBrowse is working properly. The difficulty is that the GODAE live
access server is creating a netCDF file where several temperature
profiles are all placed in a single one-dimensional array. You need
think of the data as a set of tuples (x,y,z,t,temp) all a function of
an index. ncBrowse has no way to pull this data back into a set of
individual profiles.

I've played with your included file, but the only sensible plot I
could make was using the "Map Var..." option and making a plot of xax
vs. yax.

My suggestion is to try and find the OPeNDAP server and directly use
ncBrowse with that. However, a quick look around and I wasn't able to
figure out where LAS was getting its data from.

Good luck,

Don
