Re: running ncbrowse

Peter,
         A couple things...  First the java ncBrowser.Browser command 
didn't work for a couple reasons.
The correct command is "java ncBrowse.Browser" and you probably didn't have 
the proper jar files in your classpath.
You need  HTTPClient.jar,  collections-1_1.jar, dods.jar, ncBrowse.jar, 
netcdf2.jar, and  noaa_pmel.jar in your classpath.
And you need to be running a Java2 jdk.

I have updated instructions for hand installing the Beta version at: 
http://www.epic.noaa.gov/java/ncBrowse/help.html#UNIX2

I don't know why runncBrowse didn't work.  The LAX system seems to be 
having a problem finding ncBrowse.
