Time Filtering

The most useful type of filtering for profile data is by time. In the following illustration, the time filter range is reduced (by manipulating the outside handles) to span about 1 year in time. After repositioning the time filter (using the center handle), the NdEdit panels now look like:

This action has reduced the clutter in the latitude/longitude panel highlighting a long north-south section that occurred in late 1993 or earlier 1994 (plus some shorter sections probably associated with the TAO array). By moving this narrow time filter (dragging the center handle) to other postions on the time axis, other sections taken at different times will be easier to discern from the map view. Note that the depth/latitude panel now effectively shows a depth profile for the section.
