NdEdit Tutorial
Zooming and Filter Handles

Zooming and Filtering are independent actions--one does not affect the other. Thus it is possible to to zoom into to region not covered by the filter region or zoom to a region much smaller than the filter region. When something like this occurs, NdEdit will show that portion of the filter region that overlaps the cut-panel axes range and show any handles that might be off range as triangle rather than a rectangle.

In the following illustration, the latitude/longitude panel is zoomed to a narrower range than the filter range (by dragging a selection rectangle around Hawaii):

Notice that that the latitude and longitude axes display the handles as triangles meaning that the filter minimum and maximum values are greater than or less than the range of the cut panel axes. Notice also that the time asn depth axes are unchanged. To reposition the filter handles in the cut panel range, click the handle areas to position the closest handle to the click location. Note it may take more than one click to position the handles inside the axis range.
