The EPIC System Library was designed and written by Dr. Donald W.
Denbo. It has subsequently been modified substantially by Ms. Willa
H. Zhu, who currently has the responsibility for maintenance and
documentation. Mr. Dai C. McClurg has made extensive contributions to
the documentation, and has provided very clear, amply documented
example application programs which illustrate the use of the library
routines. Several simple application programs, suitable as templates
for more complex programs, are available upon request, in both Fortran
and C.
