Overview This table outlines the individual tasks in the CDP wizard by the main activity of the panel and other options available: |

|
Search Directory |
In this panel you decide which datasets meet broad criteria of location and time. In addition, you can use keywords to further refine your datasets of interest. For example, you can use keywords to select dataset by the presence/absence of a particular measured variable. |
|
|
Search Results |
This panel displays the datasets that met your directory search criteria. Here you will select a dataset for further analysis. |
Set Selected Region: Specify custom spatial and time domains for the selected dataset. Plot Stations: Shows the location of the files in the dataset on a world map. Information:Display information on the selected dataset. |
|
Data Items |
This panel displays a list of data items in the selected dataset. If the number of data items > 10, then CDP will automatically display a data selecttion tool called NdEdit in a separate window. If the number of stations is less than 10, CDP will display a a scrolling list. |
Graphical View: Display the NdEdit browser when the wizard is currently showing a list view. List View: Displays the list view when NdEdit is displayed. |
|
Variable |
This panel shows the measured variables for the selected data items. |
Plot: Produce a plot of the selected variable in a separate window or as an overlay to an exusting window. Export: Write the selected data items to file. |
|
Subset |
Use this panel to define a subset of the axes for the selected variable. For example you can restrict a profile to a specific depth range or restrict a time series to a specific date range. |
Plot: Produce a plot of the selected variable in a separate window or as an overlay to an exusting window. Export: Write the selected data items to file. |
